Contemplative in the Kootenays will meet in New Denver on Saturday, July 27th, from 10 am to 3 pm.  We’ll be at the home of Therese DesCamp (directions below).

For this day of centering prayer, lectio divina, meditative walking, conversation and communion, please remember to wear comfy clothes; bring a journal and pen, as well as your lunch; and if you need special sitting gear, bring that along too.

Afterwards we will go swimming in Slocan Lake so bring a swimsuit and towel!

Directions:

From the one and only traffic light in New Denver, head east to Kaslo. About 1-2 kilometres on Highway 31A, you’ll go through a very tight hairpin curve and then straighten out. The first road on the right is Denver Siding–take that road! We are the third house on the right, down a little driveway. Blue roof, white and green and blue porch. We will be meeting in the “him-itage” (as in it belongs to him!) which is the building just to the right of the garage.
