This Convergence Writers’ Weekend pre-event features author Keith Liggett in a free, one-hour “Coffee with a Writer” in Nakusp. Scheduled for high noon on Saturday, May 18th, the workshop will take place at the Nakusp Library, 92 6th Ave., Nakusp. All writers welcome!

Keith Liggett is a ski bum and writer. His articles have appeared in major ski journals and in more than 75 newspapers. In 2009, Whitecap Books published Island Lake Lodge: The Cookbook, which won a Gourmand Award and went into a second printing in May 2010. His second collection of poetry, like socks in the dryer, was published in 2013. The Fernie Originals, profiles of Fernie, B.C., business and essays about the town, appeared in 2015.
