This Convergence Writers’ Weekend pre-event features author Claire Paradis in a free, one-hour “Coffee with a Writer” in New Denver. Scheduled for high noon on Saturday, May 25th, the workshop will take place at the Outlet Youth Centre, 306 6th Ave., New Denver. All writers welcome!

Claire Paradis was the associate editor of the Arrow Lakes News for three years and continues to write as a freelancer for Kootenay newspapers and magazines. Outside the world of local news and features, she also writes short stories, micro-memoirs and poetry. Claire has a B.A. (Hons) in Linguistics from Concordia University and Cambridge Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA).
