The next gathering of Contemplative in the Kootenays is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, in New Denver at Knox Hall, 521 6th Avenue.

Our day starts at 10 am and ends at 3 pm.  We’ll be doing Centering Prayer (Surrender Meditation); lectio divina; walking meditation; and celebrating open communion at the end. Our theme, in keeping with the fact that we will be meeting on Earth Day, will be “What in the world is right action NOW?”  We will also take our time of walking meditation as an opportunity for a small local Earth Day march; bring your appropriate eco-attire!

All welcome, beginners to adepts.  Please bring whatever you need to sit comfortably, a notebook or journal and your lunch.  Wear comfortable clothes and remember that we’ll be walking outside!
