Contemplative in the Kootenays will be meeting on Saturday, November 23rd, in New Denver at the home of Therese DesCamp—directions below—from 10 am until 3 pm.

As always, we’ll start with meditation, wind our way through lectio divina and walking meditation, have a little conversation and end with open communion. Our theme for this session will depend on what Therese is reading in the next few weeks–probably the work of John Ruusboec (someone new to us).

Please bring your lunch, your sitting gear (if you need any), your journal, and wear comfy clothes. We’ll probably be sporting snow—or at least a bit of ice—so do keep that in mind! Please let Therese know if you are coming, so she can make sure to have enough handouts.

Just to keep your calendar up-to-date—the Advent retreat, which will be focused on spiritual autobiography, will be on the 14th of December.
