Members of Contemplative in the Kootenays are invited to meet in person on Saturday, June 27, 2020. We’ll meet at the DesCamp/Meier house in New Denver (directions below). We will do the social distancing thing, for sure; but it will be very good to see your dear faces in person if you can make it. HOWEVER! Some of us cannot take this risk. I will do my best to provide an audio link, if anyone who is unable to come would like that.

Here is the calculated part of this risk: Please bring your own lawn chair, drink, and food, along with your notebook or journal. Given the rapid shifts possible in the weather, maybe an umbrella (works for sun and rain!), sunscreen, bug repellant. Plus anything else you need to be comfortable.

We have a large backyard that is relatively private, plus a bathroom in the garage. We also have a whole container of sanitary wipes to use on the doors into and out of the garage bathroom!

The best research these days says that being outside, as long as no one is coughing, singing, or shouting toward you, is a very safe way to meet each other. So if you feel comfortable with this, I’ll see you at 10 am this Saturday, June 27th.

From the one and only traffic light in town, proceed east (away from lake) up Hwy. 31A toward Kaslo, about 1 km. After the S-curve with the 30 km speed limit, the road straightens out. Denver Siding Road is the first (only) paved road on the right. There is a log house on the corner. We are the third house on the right, where the road splits.
