Conversations with the Dying

"Conversations with the Dying" is a series of short talks followed by discussion.  Participants will consider the range of beliefs that people hold about dying and what happens afterward; look at how a hospice volunteer, family member or friend might assist someone to say what they long to say--or need to say--before they die; and explore the pitfalls inherent in family communication during the death process. Contemplative in the Kootenays: Fall Retreat

The Fall Retreat for Contemplative in the Kootenays is now scheduled!  Starting at dinner on Friday, September 28th, and running through lunch on Sunday, September 30th, we'll be meeting at Yasodhara Ashram on the east side of Kootenay Lake.
