Blue December

December 16 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Blue December, a drop-in event sponsored by WideSpot and Hospice, will take place on Sunday, December 16th at Knox Hall. In the midst of holiday frivolity, this is a quiet and safe space to acknowledge the losses of the year. Come write, talk to a volunteer, light a candle, stand around the sacred fire, or just be quiet. 1:30-4:30 pm.

Contemplative in the Kootenays

Contemplative in the Kootenays will meet on Saturday, January 26th, from 10 am to 3 pm.  Place to be arranged. We’ll begin with centering prayer (surrender meditation) and move into lectio divina, discussion, more meditation, and a short presentation.  We close with open communion. Please bring your own lunch, a notebook and pen, and whatever you might need for “sitting gear” beyond a chair (we’ve got those!).
